Chevrolet Performance's new ZZ6 delivers more power than any 350 Small-Block ever installed in a production vehicle.

Rated at 420 hp and 408 lb.-ft. of torque, it derives its range-topping performance from unique, lightweight aluminum cylinder heads that enable optimal airflow at high rpm. The cylinder head casting is based on the proven Fast Burn design, with large intake runners and 2.00/1.55-inch valves. Beehive-style valve springs deliver greater high-rpm performance and durability. Their egg-shaped profiles have less reciprocating mass in motion, require less spring pressure for greater valve control and handle valvetrain stresses more efficiently. They allow the ZZ6 to rev higher to make the most of every cubic inch of air drawn through it. The ZZ6 also uses an aggressive hydraulic roller camshaft that supports the engine's high-rpm airflow capability while maintaining excellent low-speed drivability.

This Base crate engine kit includes the intake manifold, distributor, water pump, starter, damper and flexplate - and the distinctive, racing-inspired valve covers that distinguish this crate engine as the latest in the ZZ legacy! Also included is the pre-programmed, self-learning control system.

MODERN PERFORMANCE WITH CLASSIC STYLE

Chevrolet Performance’s ZZ6 EFI crate engine blends the timeless style of the classic 350 Small-Block with modern,
electronically controlled port fuel injection.

The key is the unique induction system, which features port injectors mounted on an aluminum intake manifold that
has the appearance of a carbureted intake. A fuel injection throttle body mounted in place of the carburetor allows a
traditional air cleaner to be installed on the engine.

As with our other ZZ6 crate engines, the cylinder heads are based on the proven Fast Burn design, with large intake
runners and 2.00/1.55-inch valves. Beehive-style valve springs enable greater high-rpm performance and durability.
They allow the ZZ6 to rev higher to make the most of every cubic inch of air drawn through it.

The ZZ6 also uses an aggressive hydraulic roller camshaft that supports the engine’s high-rpm airflow capability while
maintaining excellent low-speed drivability. It all adds up to a thoroughly modern Small-Block that looks right at home
under the hood of your vintage Camaro, Chevelle, Corvette and more. A simple plug-and-play control system rounds
out the package to get the engine running in your project without the need for third-party tuning.
Our Deluxe crate engine kit includes the distributor, damper, starter, and flexplate.

Note:

The ZZ6 EFI requires the a fuel pump capable of a minimum flow of  57 GPH (215 LPH) at 58 PSI.

Fuel Pressure Regulator: The ZZ6 EFI requires the use of a vacuum referenced fuel pressure regulator set to 58 to 60 PSI.  The vacuum reference hose must be connected to an intake manifold vacuum source. A good location can be had by installing a T in the vacuum line between the throttle body and MAP sensor, Adjust the regulator with the vacuum reference hose disconnected from the regulator and plugged while the engine is running. Once 58 to 60 PSI is achieved, unplug the vacuum reference hose and connect it to the vacuum reference port on the regulator





Air cleaner P/N 19351805, Ignition wire set P/N 12361051 and water pump P/N 12685965 are not included in the Deluxe engine kit (shown but can be ordered separately).
