-The High-Output Engine Calibration is designed to enhance on-and off-road performance for added confidence.
-This calibration increases torque by an additional 40 lb.-ft. at 3,000 rpm compared to your factory torque rating on your vehicle equipped with the 2.7L Turbo Plus engine to help your truck achieve the same power offered on ZR2 models.
-Increased torque helps allow for improved acceleration.
-Premium fuel is not required.

More Details
The L3B Performance Calibration requires the reprogramming of the vehicles ECM (Engine Control Module). This must be done with the Service Programming System at an Authorized GM Dealer. The Performance Calibration does not include any hardware content.
Note to Dealers:
When reprogramming the L3B Performance Calibration, please call Techline Customer Support Center (TCSC) at (1-800-828-6860) and ensure that the specific Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is on hand. The TCSC will provide programming requirements and instructions. TCSC will provide a Vehicle Configuration Index (VCI). Call TCSC to obtain a VCI number. The vehicle VIN that will be upgraded is required and the following Authorization Code:

TCSC will bill the dealership directly for the calibration. Installation of the calibration will be done at no cost to the customer, the calibration download and installation is to be charged to labor OP 0602888.
Note: An SPS warranty claim code will be provided through service after the flash has been complete. This will be required to get paid for the labor. (Add note about not getting paid until code received?)
Calibration Details:
- Increases the Torque Output of the Engine by over 40 foot pounds.
- Does not require Premium Fuel.
- Maintains all Vehicle Warranties.
Note: The calibration download and installation is to be charged to Labor OP 0602888.
- Call the TCSC line and have the vehicles VIN ready.
- Program the engine control module. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module: Programming and Setup in Vehicle Service Manual. Follow the instructions for flashing the vehicle.
